How do I...
Animate text or an image
You can position text or an image each frame to follow an object in the gif
  1. Check the Frame by frame box
  2. Move to the starting frame, and set the starting position. You will see an orange diamond on the timeline, indicating that this frame has a position specified.
  3. Repeat for the next frames
  4. Note: It is easiest to hold and drag the object, and change frames using the a and d keys
  5. To delete a keyframe, right click the corresponding diamond
Smoothly move an image or text
(gif of the steps) Tweening is the process of generating intermediate frames between two images to give the appearance that the first image evolves smoothly into the second image. To tween in gifntext:
  1. Check the Frame by frame box
  2. Move to the starting frame, and set the starting position. You will see an orange diamond on the timeline, indicating that this frame has a position specified.
  3. Move to the ending frame, and set the final position
  4. Click the starting frame's orange diamond
Add a custom image
  1. Click "Add Image"
  2. Click the upload image button, and paste in a url or browse to the file on your computer
  3. Once uploaded, the file will appear at the end of the image list. It may take a few moments to load the image on the page.
Tip: Transparent PNGs are the best type of image to upload
Resize a gif
Click and drag the lower right corner of the gif to the desired size
Crop a gif
Click on the lower left or upper right of the crop box to enter crop mode. To exit crop mode, click anywhere outside the crop box.
Resize/Rotate/Flip Text
Select the text or image and then drag any of the transformation points. To rotate, click the circle above the text
Change Opacity
To change the opacity of a color, use the opacity bar.
